Bsd proved that both Akutagawa AND Atsushi can be knight-in-shining-armour in less than five chapters. Atsushi is soft, gentle and kind as well as brutal, sarcastic and driven. He can beg Fyodor to return his friends AND turn around to rip through space and time to save his partner. He can say the most comforting words to reassure you and be absolutely salty if the occasion requires it. Sskk are a duality. They are both equal halves.

This is so beautiful, the way he put together a solution and saved Akutagawa last minute ??? The way they call each others names ??? I don’t think it’s actually over yet but I’m glad they’re back together because they work better together. I can’t even put it into words how much their relationship development means to me.

In all seriousness I'm happy that Akutagawa is okay, but I hope later on we get to see how sskk deal with the fact that he died twice. I just think it would be really interesting to see how this reflects on their relationship in the future, I mean before Atsushi didn't really understand Akutagawa nor do I think that he thought he was capable of such selflessness. So, I think it would be interesting to see Atsushi tackle how his perception of Akutagawa has changed so rapidly now after witnessing his past and deaths.
And for Akutagawa there's him having to cope with the fact that he literally died twice in a short span of time, and is sorta experiencing a rebirth of sorts? I'm not sure how to describe it. Plus he's also now got a kid to look after in Aya who is also traumatized which is going to be interesting to see play out.
Oh and don't get me started on Dazai, I really hope he actually has a proper reaction to ALL of this and not just smirk knowingly. But all in all, I'm really exited.
