anyway!!!! check out this really cool brush i found for adding extra texture?!?! i love it so much the scratchiness really gives it that extra crunchy vibe i just l o v e, especially combined with the gauze brush i use on my lighting layers, and my lazy bending with a marker brush. i’m genuinely so happy with how my style is turning out
i also gave Brynjar a slight redesign in terms of his hair. i really love that little braid he’s got to honour his elven heritage despite being raised by Asgardians. i like to think he blends a both the cultures of Alfheim and Asgard together in his fashion and role as a dignitary of sorts between the two realms since Odin took him in as a sign of goodwill and friendship towards the Light Elves after the war with the Ice Giants. I think he and the Loki of his timeline were really close when Bryn found an interest in the political history of Alfheim and the Nine Realms and spent a lot of time with Loki just reading.

Currently, my favorite licensed character to draw is Danny or Dark Danny from Danny Phantom. (Oops)
My favorite original character is my character Brynjar, but it used to be one named Lynn. I don’t post them TOO much here because ocs don’t get too much love on tumblr but if you check their tags you’ll find them.

Since Sigrid is your dragonborn (and Ulfric wife/Hjordis mother??? I think??) Also Sigrid gives me a strong grizzly mom impression, it's unBEARable
Hi hi! Always happy to share when people are interested in what I do! :DUnfortunately I never got that far into working on my characters other than a hand full of backstories. I’ve been thinking of picking up the project again because it would be really fun to work on, though after a little riding accident about two years ago I’ve been struggling to do any kind of work related to any world building and even straight up writing... I had a story planned that took place after the events of Skyrim involving the war against the Thalmor, told under the perspective of a couple of different characters including Hjordis, but I didn’t get that far other than one mock up chapter. I did play around visual novel softwares lately and I am contemplating the idea of bringing it back in that format.Hjordis’ character was one of the most developed personality wise though I think? Long story short, she is rash and stubborn but courageous and loyal. She looked up to Galmar a lot (she liked to think of him as her uncle) and would follow her father to Oblivion and back, never really questioning him. She wasn’t a high ranked official yet due to her young age but she always took Galmar’s (and Ulfric’s) training to heart, vs her little brother who took more after their mother, being more inquisitive and preferring books to straight up fighting.And yes, Sigfrid is definitely a big mama bear. She probably overhears a lot of puns over it (especially being in Windhelm and all) and hates those jokes a lot (I don’t tho. They are hilarious LOL)
A man seemed pretty troubled as he walked by our house today. I wanted to ask if he was alright, but he seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered.
Somebody called him “Whitemane” - is he related to the nice man my husband looks up to? I think he was called Kodlak.
I wonder if I should leave my drawing in Jorrvaskr. I’ve always hoped that my pictures would brighten somebody’s day, but maybe he’d find it creepy instead. I’ll think about it.
