So I've been watching this movie called Ruthless People (1986) on repeat and I noticed in the credits that the small part of the main character Sam's attorney is played by none other than Bob Tzutiger, who co-wrote Newsies (1992) alongside Noni White!
Why is this interesting? Ruthless People was the first feature film role for Bill Pullman who played Our Man Denton in Newsies--AND HE LOOKS LIKE THIS IN IT
I love the line "they call that a headline?/the idiot who wrote it must be working for the sun" in carrying the banner so much
the implication is that the reporter who came up with the headline wrote a headline so bad that they simply must be working for a different paper trying to hurt the World's circulation on purpose
and then enter Bryan Denton of the New York Sun
