loved the whole huntress wizard stuff, it made me go back to at to see how much I missed with her and I BARELY MISSED ANY AT ALL!?!?! thats crazy she had so little time in ALL THE 10 SEASONS but then is this important to Finn in this show?!

like I get he fs grew alot offscreen that we didnt see bc this is older Finn and I love that but wow thats so crazy to me. but thats also so cool bc I absolutely LOVE the va for huntress wizard her voice perfectly fits the character (eps bc when I went back to watch old eps the voice felt soo different to me)

The title came from "Mine" but this relationship is clearly "State of Grace." They simply never saw this coming, and things were never the same - for them or for the relationship between the profilers and their mysterious pilots.

I had a hard time finding one that fit this pair and went back and forth with a few reputation and evermore songs before landing on "Dress." But it just works so well: they don't want each other like a best friend!! All of the silence and patience pining and desperately waiting!!

extremely good question!! i think when i try to rationalize it from the perspective of someone who thinks that (but genuinely am open to hearing explanations from people on this side of tumblr) i come up with two ideas:

john wanted dean out in the world to do his work (his soldier etc etc) and specifically to take care of sam (take care in both meanings of the word) i don't think this holds up to much scrutiny

people hold the belief that john Thought he loved dean and saved him based off of that but that the way he raised him/previous treatment meant that he did not actually love him in a Real way. i do not think this realistically demonstrates how human emotions work
