#brushy rambles

Last night I had to make a difficult decision with one of my budgies. After some x-rays revealed an ovarian tumour taking up about 50% of her lower body, and when it was made known medication might not even help her with any pain she may have, I had to say goodbye to Snowball.

I'm sad, and I need to focus on her mate. Thomas has been a little sad too, and I want to make sure he'll make it out of this okay.

That being said, I'm tired and heartbroken. I'm going to take a small break, but I'll probably come back when I get her ashes in a couple of weeks.
