Here's the bingo card for the character responsible for my love of most of these tropes, Batman! (Specifically Batman as portrayed in the Timverse or by Kevin Conroy RIP king.)

I have so many thoughts about Batman as a character and could probably make a case for just about any square on this card (except for "Silly lil guy (murderer)" because he's neither of those things to me). I mean it's not that he pretends like he doesn't care, he just doesn't always put effort into showing it, but everyone knows that he does, even his villains. He wouldn't put his body and life on the line if he didn't.

And I'm always down to read a gay or trans fanfiction about him, but that just isn't a huge part of his character for me. I love stories where Batman is utterly devoted to Gotham. Stories where he doesn't put a lot of thought into his sexuality or gender because he'll always try to be whatever Gotham needs, and what it needs is Batman... or occasionally Bruce Wayne.

Speaking of Bruce Wayne, I used a picture of him for the "Alter Ego" Square because I really like stories where Bruce Wayne is more of a mask that he wears than Batman is. To be clear, I don't think that he's 100% Batman either, but he's definitely more himself as Batman than as Bruce. I think that the only person who gets to see the real him is Alfred, and sometimes the Robins, Selina, and Clark.

I could go on for so so long because I've been a Batman fan since I was like 5 and saw BTAS for the first time.
