well, I could give you (and I have considered giving you) a very long detailed timeline of my love for Jiwon. There wasn’t a single event or performance that made me love her. It was really just a combination of things, and a lot has happened over the past four years that have taken my love for her to mega tier levels, as this isn’t a typical stanning situation I dare say. my feelings for Jiwon go beyond regular stan-hood. 

but I think I will try to keep this easy to read. X”D

1.) She’s a great actress.

Before Heirs and before I ever started this blog a long long time ago, I noticed Jiwon as a very talented actress that was continually cast in small roles, but did an amazing job with how little she got. She was always underrated and under promoted, and more often than not given the short end of the stick.

Since then, I’ve observed Jiwon grow and mature as an actress. Time in and time out, she’s surprised me with how good she is.

She’s so good!!! honestly it pains me she hasn’t been offered lead roles long before now.

did I mention she can sing?

2.) She’s cute and adorable. 

And sweet and kind. 

Did you know she’s the type of person that doesn’t get mad?

3.)  I just love this kid

Your question is a bit like asking me “what made me like ice cream?” I don’t know, I’ve just always loved ice cream. 

However it is pretty obvious I’ve fallen very far down the rabbit hole. 

Seeing as I’ve made several Jiwon accounts, like Jiwon HQ, which now 5 other people help run across 6 different platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Blogspot, and Tumblr), as well as my Descendants of the Sun blog and co-running the Fight For My Way blog, well, sure, there have been some contributing factors for my obsession with this particular brand of ice cream. 

One such factor,.. Over the course of the past four years, there have been times when people have tried to drag her down in order to drag me down, though there have been others who just hated on her regardless of me. To me, it seems unbelievable that anyone could find a reason to dislike her (she’s so cute and precious wtf??) but hey small minded peasant folk exist and they’ve hated on her quite harshly, so. *shrug* - Well, when those kinds of things happen, they just make me dig my heels in harder and love Jiwon even more.  ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

4. ) She’s my sunshine and my rainbows

Beyond that, if you needed any sort of personal reason from me, well,.. Since the premiere of Gapdongi in April 2014, I’ve had to deal with a lot of medical drama with my grandmother, so I’ve clung to Jiwon quite a bit. Jiwon gives me an endless supply of good thoughts. She is my happy place.

in general, a lot of articles talk about her solid performances, breaking the 20 something actress drought, and her chameleon-like ability to take on different roles. Jiwon is getting that praise, yo. (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡

it’s a crime i tell you, a crime.

it’s really really painful to see Jueun forced to take on 2nd lead roles when she’s had lead roles before and when she’s so much more talented than the idol leads of the dramas she’s recently been in. 

Lim Jueun (and Kim Jiwon) have been some of the biggest victims of big name female idols taking lead roles away from actual actresses. / honestly if i didn’t like some idol-actors, i would band wagon every argument against idols as leads in dramas. I would love to do that, but alas, there are some good ones. but still, most of the time these producers see money and name recognition over substantive acting skills. it makes me pull my hair out and not want to watch anything with an idol in it, especially when talented actresses are relegated to minor (and usually horribly written) roles. 

particularly to Jueun tho,.. I’ve always felt tho she is a better actress than Jiwon, she lacks some star potential that Jiwon has. so my hope is for her to switch over to movies and do some critical pieces and gain some more traction and acclaim as an actress. 

the news about him having cancer broke 5+ hours or so ago.. my response is 2 days old. I guess it irritated some people.
