Indulge in the richness of this Millionaire Brownie Cake that combines fudgy brownies with layers of caramel, chocolate chips, and nuts. It's the perfect dessert for chocolate lovers and a real treat!
Ingredients: 1 box of brownie mix. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted. 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts. 1/2 cup of caramel sauce. 1/4 cup of heavy cream. 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Whipped cream and additional caramel sauce for garnish optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, melted butter, and half of the chocolate chips. Mix until well combined. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. While the brownies are baking, prepare the caramel layer. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the caramel sauce, heavy cream, and powdered sugar. Stir until the mixture is smooth and heated through. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Once the brownies are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the top. Pour the warm caramel sauce over the chocolate chips and nuts, making sure to spread it evenly. Allow the Millionaire Brownie Cake to cool in the pan for at least 2 hours, or until the caramel layer has set. Once cooled, you can optionally garnish with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving. Slice and enjoy!
