Finally found the "quiet room" at work. It's set up like a single occupancy bathroom, with a vacant/occupied lock on the door and a dimming light, but it's just a place to sit mostly. Had to sign in, but you can bet we'll be back over the next few weeks while we get ourselves back on track, so we don't smoke during every break like we have been. We're still groggy from finally getting our meds last night so I'm gonna rest a bit in the chair in here and get our head back on straight before work, since I have over an hour. Whew. I love this building.
Jack... No...
So Jack did that "fell asleep for about three minutes but still managed to dream somehow" thing and woke up dazed And he just looked me right in the face and blurted out: "Rhysie, we need to be asking the important questions, like, will I ever be able to get up for a drink in the middle of the night and not have to put back on pants? What about that?" I just... Gently put him back to bed... >_>
Just realizing a lot...
I think I figured out last night why our brain has been grabbing Jack and holding onto him so hard.
We need to learn how to be selfish again. That’s our next step. We’ve made a lot of progress with valuing ourselves, but the biggest issue is the feelings related to asking for attention. Like that we shouldn’t because it takes away from others, or that other people don’t really want to pay attention to us and find our self-disclosure annoying.
But how do we even learn how to do that again? Especially when there’s so many people we care about that NEED so much attention, and we just WANT it? Or do we need it too and we just sabotage that by telling ourselves that our desires are controllable and other people’s aren’t? I don’t know where to start with this.
I guess knowing where the problem is, and what our brain is trying to do, is only the first step. Now we have to figure out what to do. And we have no idea where to start.

Rhys: *buys a salad for lunch, eats it at his desk so he can keep working, enjoys his veggies*
Rhys: *is really professional and polite to everyone*
Rhys: *shows up early and leaves late just because he's so devoted*
Handsome Jack: *picks all the protein out of Rhys' lunch even though he literally owns the cafeteria, hisses at lettuce*
Handsome Jack: *is completely hit-or-miss; will either be condescendingly professional or border on sexual harassment*
Handsome Jack: *is never at his desk because he's always out bothering someone (probably Rhys)*

House cleaning?
Emergency maintenance, to avoid a crash. Everyone went in. Leo was supposed to come. Still waiting. Maybe he'll hide until he's needed. Don't know. Jack and I until then. The two of us have been kind of going between hallucinating, random stabbing pain and agony, and feeling like we're being pulled into a time loop. But, you know, at least the others are safe. We'll wait it out. I'm just glad we're the only ones feeling this. It has to end sometime.

Jack: There would've been hair if you were here on time.
Loki: Don't you dare paraphrase Mulan to me in that tone of voice ever again.

Jack: YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A PERSON
Rhys: Excuse me while I GO DIE INSIDE.

Jack: *just tries to exist, hands are shaking*
Corvo: *from the back of front* Our hands are shaking.
Loki: *from the couch* Our hands are shaking.
Jack: MCFRICKEN REALLY????
.........
Corvo: *in white mouse form* Loki, I have a question.
Loki: *looks down at mouse* Which is...?
Corvo: A lot of questions, really.
Loki: I have a lot of answers.
Corvo: They're a bit personal.
Loki: That doesn't bother me much.
Corvo: Are you sure?

I haven’t seen any students today buuuuuuuut
I DID send an email to someone that was very long and incredibly personalized to their learning styles to help them with a midterm that snuck up on them..............
Could I count that on the spreadsheet? XD Likely not, but it counts for making myself useful during work hours.
