@mythalsfavour same! when people argue that he’s not interesting or a one note ~choir boy~ it just tells me they haven’t actually taken the time to get to know his character

he’s got layers and history and it takes ten seconds with him to realize he serves an idolized version of the chantry, not the mess that actually exists, and he just wants to do good

1. campaign one or campaign two? campaign one. i posted about it the other day but campaign two still hasn’t…. grabbed me. it took the briarwoods for me to get totally hooked in the first place, so i’m just waiting for the storyline that pulls me in for campaign two. i’m watching episode 31 atm so i’ve still got a ways to go to catch up 

2. vex’ahlia or jester? ………vex. narrowly, and i think i’m going to end up liking jester more in the long run. vex grew on me through the first campaign and ended up as one of my absolute favorites, but jester is just such a breath of fresh air and i think as we learn more she’ll end up my fav between the two

6. scanlan or tary or nott? scanlan, again narrowly. tbh nott is one of my least favorites of the m9 (which i gather is not a popular opinion) but she just…. doesn’t interest me? she’s a good character and since i gave up avoiding spoilers like a year ago i know vaguely what’s going on with her arc and it just. i don’t know. it’s very “ehhhh” to me. 

and as much as i did grow to love tary and i love how much everyone hated him to start and eventually loved him, scanlan has to win out just because he was around longer and had more development

11. gilmore or pumat sol? gilmore! pumat’s great but nothing beats the sheer force of charisma that is gilmore. i may change my mind if pumat ever fights a dragon.

4. pike or yasha?  yasha. i mean. look. i love pike. i adore everything about her and she’s absolutely amazing and perfect. but yasha is a big buff barbarian with cool weapons and creepy wings and she’s Soft and the whole lightning aesthetic and it’s neat and interesting and also incredibly attractive what can i say i’m predictable

5. keyleth or beauregard? keyleth! she’s been my fav since episode one and i will never be over how absolutely amazing her personal arc was. i do also rly love beau, and it’s been fun and interesting to see marisha play such a different character

12. kima or keg? kima, bc she’s great and kimallura is the best thing to happen ever. i was……. not rly a fan of keg tbh. i didn’t actively dislike her, and ashly did an amazing job playing her, i just wasn’t feeling it
