i think this is genuinely why seele is the way she is with bronya now. because bronya is finally free from that sort of life of killing, and she knows bronya is trying her best but still gets into trouble that just makes her worry, so she can't help but be strict or harsh at times. she wants her to live comfortably. she doesn't want her to fall into old habits or experience pain again, so she tries to lecture bronya on her recklessness. seele has seen so much from being a medic now, and as bronya is one of the most important people to her, she simply hopes bronya can be happy and healthy and that the things she does for her are enough. because she knows she can only ever do so much despite wanting to do more
