feast upon my tasting plate of some of my latest favourites !

she made a surprise appearance (but not really) (i talked to her in the smoker's area and she told me she was gonna sing) (lol) to sing crash crash with maz!!

we got autographs from both of them :D

most videos are gonna be portrait mode because we weren't sober and literally forgot to turn it lmaoo, also our phone mic didn't like the bass so sorry headphone users there's gonna be some weirdness here t_t

the opening act was graphy-t! we love them dearly, they're a self-described "bruit-perpop" band from rennes (breizh represent!!)

their energy was amazing!! here's 2 highlights we got, you can really tell everyone was enjoying them :3

main act was ambïose! they're a really cool electronic rock music collective, and it was their last concert before one of their core members left. we're very happy we could be there for this!

they played a lot of their most popular songs that really let the member that was leaving a chance to sing

i thought it was cool that they changed up the intro for their single "paradis perdu", which is made of various snipets from news segments. you can hear people in the crowd wonder which politician is talking lol

of course, they still end it with the same one as on the album: "it's a most disquieting tragedy: young people are reportedly killing themselves now 4 times more than before the pandemic"

they made every guest go up on stage to sing a fully unrehearsed cover of "lola" by superbus, which we DID film, and it was REALLY funny, but the file corrupted for some unknown reason and we couldn't salvage it u_u

what we DO have is this great moment of technical difficulties they encountered due to sasha from graphy-t ruining the sound card by playing bass too hard

shout-out to théa for being here despite playing the ardentes music festival the day before, she's literally insane.

they also played a cover of "elle me dit" by mika, which we've been hearing a bunch in french queer circles lately. the hyperlinked video here has english subtitles because it's NOT a good sign lmao, honestly kind of a recession indicator

closing act was bromaz, one of the best french hyperpop artists in our opinion, we follow her everywhere she goes. she's the only artist we have shotgun notifications on for and she's the reason we even learned of this concert happening

we were too into it so the only video we took was of a new song she previewed called "dead set" which will be on her next ep!

we got CDs for graphy-t and ambïose, because we already have maz's ones. also got autographs from both of them so the first page in our little binder is now full!

a member of ambïose at the merch table took our bellsprout and passed it around for every member to sign, then gave it back at the end of the concert, it was really sweet

we ended up spending most of the night with a girl we met that night as said in another post and we had a loooot of fun, we really love meeting people,,
