Just as an fyi- 'Esme Rose' is an ai artist put together to sell ai-written 'spellbooks' and t-shirts. It's a bunch of men, and in their business contacts are older men with multiple businesses including importing, 'business consulting', and property investment. Some have multiple businesses opened sequentially over the last 4-5 years.

Now I'm too tired and defeated to even try today. Cynical men are taking female rage and profiteering off of it. I mean. What else is new, I guess? But now they don't even have to find a real, human woman to pretend to write the songs and actually sing them. They can cut the icky woman right out of the picture.

I hate venality and lies most of all.

In Gulliver’s Travels: The Broligarchy, power is quantified through the Influence Score™, a gamified social ranking system that determines visibility, status, and access to opportunity. Samantha Gulliver enters this world believing intelligence and determination can earn recognition inside the system. What she discovers instead is that the system was designed to weaponize recognition itself.

Dropping a new essay on how fiction can tell the stories about the world that are sometimes too painful to tell straight. Sometimes you have to come at it from an angle.

In Morgan’s Altered Carbon, we read a tale about the elite of the elite, who have transcended death in the future and manipulate the less fortunate in the most horrific ways. In Gulliver’s Travels: The Broligarchy, we see something similar and much closer to home — a land stratified by influence, power and wealth, leaving the rich to their own whims and everyone else living in a structure they can’t escape.

There are lots of stories that talk about the horrors of the future, but really tell us the story of now. Here are just two.

“This technology disrupts humanities-trained—largely Democratic—voters, and makes their economic power less. And increases the economic power of vocationally trained, working-class, often male, working-class voters,” Karp said in a CNBC interview Thursday. “And so these disruptions are gonna disrupt every aspect of our society. This sounds like a direct, long-term pitch to the GOP from a CEO whose tech firm already has numerous government contracts and is deeply embedded in the Pentagon. Karp’s message is loud and clear: My technology will take political capital away from one of your greatest enemies—liberal women with degrees—and give one of your favorite demographics to patronize—working-class men—more political power to transfer to you. He’s aligning his technology with both GOP political strategy and the larger male-centered culture war that the right has been waging for the better part of a decade now. And how exactly would his technology only hurt Democrat women?
