•It was still a miracle to you how Darby and you got along so well. You were almost complete opposites of each other. More than once you said to him that if the circumstances had been different, meaning you wouldn't have both been wrestlers, he would've probably rather poked his eye out than spending half an hour with you. He always said that this couldn't be further from the truth.
•But it was true you were really different. Your humour wasn't as dark as his and neither were your clothes. You weren't such a thrill seeking daredevil and you weren't into goth or horror like Darby was. Whenever you said that you were lame as hell Darby just said "Well actually hell's not lame. It's pretty hot." And maybe you could've realized something than and there but you didn't. You never did.
•It was a sunny afternoon when you decided it would be a good idea to learn how to Skate. You had the most fun trying and you couldn't help but giggle at your own clumsiness everytime you heard Darby's huskily laugh when you fell flat on the floor.
•You were really into the zone and had some speed going on when you rolled over a little stone. Not little enough to keep them rolls rollin'. But Darby reacted as fast as one could and catched you before you could've hit the ground.
•"Got ya. You okay?" He looked worried.
•"Yeah", you said. All of a sudden all your thoughts and fiesty comebacks you could've said got washed away. Your head was empty you just looked at Darby and it was as if you had seen his blue eyes for the first time. They were just like ice.

Even though I wasn’t a big fan of him, I still loved his work on the ring in the WWE and AEW. He had so much talent to show us still, sadly he was taken from us too soon.
