The story of the American West didn’t start with the cowboy, it began centuries earlier with the Tejano pioneers who shaped our land, language, and culture. 🤠 Texas heritage comes alive at the Briscoe Museum with their most ambitious exhibition yet: Tejano Legacy: Another American Origin Story. Explore nearly 400 years of history through over 100 rare artifacts, masterpieces on loan from Mexico for the first time, and a special companion photo exhibition honoring Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. 🌹✨

💜 A massive celebration of Selena is coming to San Antonio this summer! 🌹 Starting June 4, the Briscoe Western Art Museum is debuting Selena Forever / Siempre Selena, a stunning, large-scale photography exhibition by acclaimed Texas photographer John Dyer. See iconic portraits, rare boutique photos, and never-before-seen ephemera capturing the Queen of Tejano at the peak of her rise to stardom. But wait, it gets better! 🍿🎬 The museum is also hosting a "Siempre Tejano" Summer Film Series on the third Sunday of June, July, and August. Your ticket gets you into the museum, plus complimentary movie snacks and cold beer from Ranger Creek. 🍻

🌵 The West is calling! The 25th Anniversary of Night of Artists opens Sunday. For 25 years, the Briscoe has brought the best of the American West to the heart of San Antonio. This year, they're celebrating a quarter-century of excellence with over 300 new works from the industry’s most respected names and rising stars. 🎨✨ Starting March 29, the exhibition is officially OPEN to the public
