How much of an obvious shipper is Briony to pining Red/MC? How much did she interfere in her well-meant attempts to get her ship go canon? Red's Festival interlude and "Briony's imagined squeals of joy" made me wonder. :D
Briony ships MC with whoever their heart desires with an equal amount of over-the-top enthusiasm, which is to say she's always in the corner shaking like a little dog in a purse anytime they interact with their love interest 🥹
These are her first friends ever to actually get together so she's excited!!! For Red specifically she'd always be making pointed comments to him when he was giving her magic/history lessons, like "oh I feel like I've seen this book somewhere... OH IT'S MC'S YOU SAY? HM, HM, INTERESTING... maybe you should bring it back to their room later tonight to return it, I feel like I've heard them saying they'd like to read it again... i'm sure they'd love to hear your thoughts on it... 👀"
But like for anything, any chance she got lol. Red could just casually mention MC's name and she'd be like 👀👀👀
