This 42mm stainless steel case timepiece is primarily satin-brushed but also has polished accents. Within the face we’ll find its Ivory-toned, cream color dial with brown arabic counters, as well as 3-sub dials, including a small-seconds sub-dial, and 30-min and 12-hour gauges, alongside a date-window, with a brown tachometer encircling them.

This 44mm silver-infused carbon case model comes with a multitude of interesting aspects to highlight, right off the bat boasting a rugged appeal. Though for me, most prominent is the busy dial. Flooded with a range of detail, its as eye-catching as it is useful. 

While it might be the nerd in me, what first stood out were the 20-min and 6-hour sub-dial hands, which in my mind immediately resembled Star Trek’s iconic symbol, though that’s more a coincidence than anything else since I’m sure the intention was closer to making arrow-shaped hands considering how this particular piece was designed commemorating the spirit and ingenuity of “Aliinghi” the historic European Sailing Team.

Then, it was the black, partial grande-tapisserie dial providing a blend of textures defining its fashion and functions. Typically this pattern, when used, dominates but here, though centered, it feels more like an homage to the rest of the series than an independent highlight I’d brag about. Surrounding it, are the aforementioned subs, as well as a unique 10-minute countdown indicator.

Within a ring design, Arabic numerals circle the dial, aside second integers that accompany the boldly-orange sweeping-seconds hand, another alluring feature due to its color, which is offset from the red accents matching the sailing team’s classic team color, seen in their logo replacing the 3.

Continuing our course through its diverse style, one integral note, that likely goes unnoticed by many is the alignment of the screws along its fixed bezel, indicating like with all APs, that it wasn’t tampered with, something you’ll come to see across a multitude of our videos here at Chronostore.
