Today I wondered why my new glasses are "shimmering" so greenly" in comparison to my old glasses.
My old glasses from 2015 (bottom) had a different kind of Entspiegelung.
Answer: The kind of "Entspiegelung" is different between those glasses.
Why:
This kind of Entspiegelung (anti-reflection - I dunno the english term) reduces the reflection of long (reds) and short (blues) wavelengths of the visible light the most. The reduction of reflection of the mids (the greens) is weaker, so to speak. Hence, my glasses are "shimmering greenly", because they are weak in reducing the green"s reflections.
