Although Madison had left the conversation with Dominic feeling oddly relieved, it was his reluctance to talk about the situation that made her want to not take him up on that eventual offer for help. She remembered his words from that night. He said he’d help, she didn’t want to overstep. Whatever he was comfortable helping her with, she’d be fine with. He’d already given her enough clues and information to go off of anyway. Madi was at least a little bit of an investigator from some of the stories she’d gotten to cover in college. She wasn’t sure how to deal with this though because it was a little more personal. There were lines she needed to be careful about crossing. One of those being trespassing, so hopefully this wasn’t going to far. Madison had driven past the Kingsley house... or manor a few times now. It didn’t look like anyone was home, which was a bummer, so she’d parked and walked up. Confirming no one was home, she looked around the house, camera out. No one seemed to be around until she made her way around to the front of the house and spotted someone.
“Okay, I know this looks bad, but I’m not snooping.”
