I’ve been seeing annotate everywhere and omg i can’t wait to try it once they release it like lemme in!!!
-jeno’s wifey
I usually don't care about new tracking apps because I'm more than fine with storygraph and I don't want to have ten similar apps on my phone BUT I might try this one because it looks like twitter but for books and it looks interesting. I just KNOW the book community won't let us have nice things, and it will turn toxic af in a few months, but let's see... (I really hope it doesn't. please, please, EVERYBODY BEHAVE FOR ONCE)
read a book with a half-baked plot and everything is just so lazily written vs read a book with an interesting plot but the style of writing is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so boring
-jeno’s wifey
The way I had to suffer both 😭
just pull the trigger for me mannn
*in mitchell's voice* mhhh gun to my head...? I'd say pull the trigger
But maybeeeee, just maybe, the interesting plot can save the writing style a bit?
Wait but framing a page of the book wojld be so cute 🥹 but I get it sometimes u just can’t let things go 😭😭😭 did u end up donating the book to ur library then?
low-key the 16 book trilogy sounds a bit like a holy story (the part of him being raised by the king and all). Im kinda intrigued now, so it’s the grandpa who told him to assassinate the king? Y? I need to know 👻. What book r u on now?
Omg Im so sorry 😭😭😭 I know I didn’t write that book but I was the one who recommended it to u n i feel bad that it made u anxious instead of comfort 😭😭😭 (crazy how the same book can make ppl feel two very different things like wow). Yeah, I also enjoyed the first story but yeah I was made at the wife and husband story cuz she should’ve been even madder and had to remind myself that this was based on Japanese culture and was written by a Japanese author but still. But yeah, there were some messages thag I enjoyed from the book but I’m sorry that it hit to close to home for u 🥺.
Girl like the last few books I’ve been reading were such duds 💀 like I truly gave it a chance cuz the plot sounded interesting and the writing itself wasn’t bad but the pacing was just slow and the style of writing was boring 🥱 🥱🥱 like I legit read 30+ pages for all three books but y is the exposition so damn long and they weren’t getting to the point at all??? Like hello??? Can we get to the good part plssss😭😭😭 is it also a coincidence that all three books were written by male authors (i feel like Ive only read a handful of well-written books by male authors). Anyways, Ive picked up a couple of different books now and it doesn’t make me wanna kill myself readingn it 🤩 (Ive also started ten thousand doors in January but online cuz my library doesn’t carry it 😔).
anyways, r u reading any other books nowadays or r u still sticking with the 16 book thingy?
ok random but you never confirmed ur mbti and zodiac sign with me 🥀
I hate Milan too!!! (I’ve never stepped foot in Milan)

It is! Tbh, I don't have much space left on the walls of my room so that's also another problem... They're still sitting in a corner of my room LOL.
Okay I tried searching for the ask but I just find the one where I told you I was taking a break, so I can't find the part about the grandpa. So basically, Fitz is the bastard son of Chivalry, who should be next in line to become king. Fitz is taken to court when he's six, so nobody knew about him and his existance changes everything (Chivalry didn't have any other heir because Patience, my sweet, sweet Patience, his wife, couldn't have them) so Fitz is kinda a problem. Long story short: Fitz is being taken care of by Burrich (his father's guard and stableman) for a while, he tells Fitz to lay low but one day his grandfather (the king) sees him and so from then on, he makes Fitz swear his loyalty to him as his assassin. So he starts to train to become an assassin, but obviously this has to be a secret and his a CHILD. There are many people in the shadows, there's a war at the door with the Red ships raiders from the Outlands, a country collapsing and a royal line about to die. And most importantly, there's The Fool, and there's a wolf who doesn't know what boundaries are, and so much more.
I started and finished "The Liveship Traders", the second trilogy. I can't rank them because they are so different from each other. I gave higher ratings to TLT, but I think it's because since it has multiple POVs and a more solid plot I rated the objective quality a bit better. The Farseer trilogy is slower, but it has to be like that. I loved them both for different reasons and I wouldn't know what to compare. I struggled with TLT because of ONE character; I HATED HIM. The themes in the second one are stronger, and I wouldn't recommend it if one is too sensitive to sexual violence of any kind. I think it made sense in the story, except one scene, and no, it's not the one the whole fandom thought was random (THAT character has been a piece of shit since the start, so no, I was not surprised when it happened, and no, it wasn't out of character). But it's a book that might make you uncomfortable (I felt like that in many scenes; even when there's no violence, women go through a lot and have to prove themselves). I liked the ending tho, I think that I was the only one rooting for that to happen so I didn't see it as a negative one. I'm excited about the next one, finally I'll go back to Fitz, but I'm not sure when I will start it. I also take back what I said about "The Rain Wild Chronicles" because one character who will be there, had the best character development in TLT so I can't wait to see more.
No don't feel bad! I guess I was disappointed because I thought I was going to love it but unfortunately, instead of making me feel hopeful, it had the opposite effect, it happens. Yeah, I know it's 100% a cultural difference thing, but even keeping that in mind, I couldn't love it.
Nooo, I'm so sad to read this :( Which books let you down? So I can avoid them too. I avoid male authors like the plague lol. No okay, I don't but I just naturally gravitated toward female or non-binary authors, I think the only male authors I have read in my life are classic authors (and james dashner bc of maze runner). Which books are you reading now? I hope they won't disappoint you. (Omg really? I hope you'll like!!! I have anxiety as if I wrote it lmaooo)
Fortunately for me, I had the best streak this month. I think that I unironically read some of my new (possibly, we need to see the test of time) favorite books or at least the most interesting I read lately. I finished "The liveship traders." I read "My brilliant friend." And I also read "The Jasad Heir" and "The Jasad Crown", I just finished this one today and I cried so much omg. I had insane expectations but the writer served one of the best enemies to lovers with an interesting political plot and amazing side characthers so I fell in love with everything. I read two other books, I liked them but didn't love them, can't name one because it's a classic and it's illigal to say you didn't love a classic lol.
I'm a infp and a pisces... yeah, that says everything about me.
AND KEEP IT LIKE THAT! NEVER STEP FOOT THERE PLEASE
I don’t know if you’ve seen it but nomin were talking about dress code for the fanmeet on live n ig someone commented wedding theme! N Jeno was like “oh, czennies will dress up in a wedding dress n we will be in tux?” And jaemin was like, “it could be the opposite, we could dress up in a wedding dress 💀” ijbol I swearrr
anyways, mentioning this cuz one again, jaemin is really good at drawing the boundary between whats acceptable and whats not like clearly he wasn’t ok with this concept but he said it in a fun way n all without blaming the fans or anything cuz he gets it at the end of the day
i haven’t ! jeno just giving in 😭😭😭😭 like ‘okay sure whatever u guys want’ i love him
UR RIGHT UR RIGHT he is really good at that he really does understand us . . . jaemin always throws me off with the 3423432 different personalities he switches from . .

GENUINELY like oh my god also his shirt is genuinely a size too small like istg his arms barely fit into the sleeves like 😭😭😭 does he know im feral actually why is he getting so dshfe omg sir ur muscles were great before dw
I started listening to the audio book bit by bit! Im not sure if I’m just not used to listening to audiobooks cuz I usually listen to songs on my walks, but it’s like im listening and paying attention to every word but I’m not comprehending 💀. Like it’s not thr story but it’s me 😭😭😭. But I did noticed the quote that u mentioned in the story!
Idk if u do art but maybe if u have the heart to tear up the pages u can make something out of it?
wait, y is the book making u cry 😭😭😭 it’s fine u can tell me if u want to cuz I don’t think I’ll be reading this book so I don’t mind of theres spoilers or anything.
I like the library book cuz of the message behind it 🥹 but j get it cuz it’s a bit on the slower pace and it may not be for everyone.
lol I think I would also maybe low-key lurk on those pages n downvote n block those who leave unnecessarily mean reviews 💀.
To me, writing is an itch that can’t be scratched! Like I’m writing one thing and another idea pops up and I’m like ughhh lemme just write that instead but I still have to finish the one im working on 😭.

Honestly, if I ONLY listened to the audiobook, I would be like you. I can't understand ANYTHING if I only listen to something, I always need to have the book in hand and the audiobook on, so if you're like me, I would recommend stopping and maybe starting when you have the possibility to read and listen at the same time (only if you still want to). It's a slow and long book, so it might be difficult to get into. Yes, it's one of the first lines of the book!
I don't 😭 I thought about ripping the map and framing it but I'm the type of person who can never break anything, even if it's already ruined (I need help). But I'll have to think about something because they're taking up space. I might just ask my library if they accept books in english and if they want them
Was this about the 16 books first trilogy? If it was about that, honestly, too much happens, I would need to write a book (lol) to tell you. The main character has a very shitty life (he's the bastard orphan of the king to be, and then is brought to court but he's raised as an assasin for the king, his grandfather), and so much happens, and I genuinely wanted to murder a character with my bare hands, but it's good, I love it when books make me feel like this lol. It's not even violent, but Robin Hobb is so good at writing characters that I grew attached to everyone, so I felt everything while reading
No for me it wasn't slow-paced, but it felt a bit repetitive, and it started giving me anxiety after the third story. Like, the first story was hopeful, and I liked it, I even saw something of my own struggles for the entire book, but it felt too much focused on work, yk? There's so much more about life, and every character struggled with work. And idk, it felt like work is everything (I didn't like the one who finally published his book but didn't leave his corporate job because "it fed me all these years" like, okay yes, but you don't owe that company anything 😭) And the mom wasn't mad enough with her husband, idc, I'm glad they worked it out in the end but she had every right to be mad. It wasn't a bad book, but it didn't make me feel positive, just anxious 😭😭😭 Maybe I'm just stupid, but it's a theme so close to me and instead of making me feel hopeful it did the opposite
Lmao that's so valid tho. I like honest reviews (even of things I liked) but the mean ones don't help anyone
That makes sense!!! I still think it's positive because, even if you can't focus on one single thing, you're mind is so alive with ideas and trust me, if you'll stop feeling like that, you WILL miss it
