Don't mind me, just throwing a Halloween ask to my pal here to break that 1 ask per 2 months curse spell. I'll pick the enchanted, potion, skeleton, pumpkin, magic and fangs options (alternatively, if you aren't a poems type of person, just go with raven instead). Also I'll break the rules a bit and add one more question : what was the the best experience you have had so far playing vidya on a Halloween month?
hot damn that’s 2 asks in 1 month
potion: favorite horror movie?uhhhhhhhhh that’s a hard one
I like The Thing for its atmosphere, Aliens is really good aside from the xenomorphs(never been a fan of them, they just look like goofy men in suits), The Mummy is a stellar movie and a really accurate period piece, plus all them others...
I’m gonna have to go with... Tremors. burt #1 MVP
skeleton: what is your biggest fear?
the theory that nothing in life could be real and everything could be anything from a simulation to a sort of “glitch” and that, in the end, none of anything will have ever mattered and nothing ever will since everything and anything could very well be programmed to be the way it is
y’know what I’m sayin? other than that, I really don’t like wasps and the only reason I don’t smack them out of the air with the closest object and crush them is because I know if I miss they’ll get real angry at me and sting the shit outta me
pumpkin: do you believe in ghosts?
hell yeah I do ghosts don’t fuck around yo
magic: have you had any near-death experiences?
well, let’s see
when I was born I was almost strangled by my own umbilical and that’s why I got the brain rots, I got my head stuck between the bars in an alligator enclosure at the zoo once, I damn near broke my neck falling from some stairs as a wee lad, I got hit by a car in 9th grade, and in the past few years I’ve probably come real close to overdosing on pain or sleep pills a handful of times
raven: favorite fairytale?
since I’ve probable read more haikus than poems, neither of which were intentional, I’m gonna go with this
I like the grimm’s fairy tale version of cinderalla since it’s such a wild departure from what I knew as a wee lad, I guess
and in terms of vidya experiences, this month has been pretty busy but I did start the ultimate RE1 playthrough, arrange mode on director’s cut DUAL SHOCK EDITION which gives me access to only the finest musical changes
and I’m not gonna lie, this game really does have some wild musical choices
some of it sounds like it was composed for an adventure game on DOS, some of it sounds like it was thrown through that shitty piano midi converter, and some of it just sounds awful
