#brick jojo

This is like the debut of my version of short-haired Brick hahaha. I've been thinking for a while if this preference is something I should embrace and apply on my artworks or just keep it a type of preference that does not need action (why the hell am I thinking about this you ask? Well I want Brick to be recognizable somehow! His hairstyle matters for this specific purpose xD).

But over time, I grew fond of this design until I couldn't resist it anymore. There weren't many iterations of Brick out there that had him with short hair - or in a way tried to adopt his S1 hairstyle instead of S5/S6. Renaerys was the only author/fan I knew who depicted him consistently this way. Other than her, and one brilliant artist, there was no one else that I knew of who tried. I realized then I would always be starved of seeing/imagining him with such hairstyle.

So.

Screw familiarity and canon compliance! I like this hair! From now on, I'll be drawing him like this 🤣 Especially when I'm trying to depict a teen to late 20s Brick (if its later 30s... i got.. something else in mind).
