Something I just noticed! In Breccia's toyhouse, it was said she was with her family who were a band of close knit travelers, and only trustful of their own family
While it was firmly said by Storm (twice I think) already that they're not a Pride, I'm just now realizing there is an actual term for them, that they're a band of travelers
But is there a reason Storm hasn't quite made it clearer yet, maybe she can't find the right word? Is it something about Travelers individual (or in Breccia's case, family's) beliefs? Is being considered a band of Travelers a more important thing in their culture than just calling themselves that (though I've seen the term used before, like when Jasper was a Traveler iirc)?
It could be culturally significant. A "band of travelers" isn't official or anything. They could just as easily be called nomads or a coalition. But referencing what Hope said before, "pride" is often synonymous with "family" as prides are mostly family groups as it is. So it's not necessarily offensive for a pride lion to call a group of travelers a "pride" even if there's objection to the affiliation.
Storm just has personal issues because she's equating a pride to something oppressive, like how she talks about how your quality of life is dependent on whether the lion in charge likes you.
It's worth noting that Storm is still young and trying to work out stuff. She's done a lot of traveling alone, and with her mother and brother, but other than that Storm hasn't had much experience traveling in groups or meeting other traveling groups herself. - Cat
