BREAKING BARD posits one of humanity’s greatest, most enduring questions: What if television’s “Breaking Bad” had been written by William Shakespeare? The Porters of Hellsgate present the most lamentable tragedie of Walter of Albuquerque: containing his treacherous plots, his pitiful murther, his tyrannical rise to power, and most deserved death.

Critical Role is tonight, but since I’m back on my school schedule I can’t stay up until 3 in the morning to watch it. So until I can catch the Youtube upload on Monday, I’m gonna have to avoid Tumblr for a few days, since even with blacklist there’s no way I can avoid all the spoilers here. Those of you who have my Skype, I will try to leave it open in case you need to contact me, but my computer has been very difficult lately, so there’s no guarantee I’ll be able to keep it open all the time. I’ll be doing this brief hiatus every week, from Friday morning to Monday afternoon, until I finally get out of school.

The show has been nominated for best production, as has Drina Durazo for Best Director, Gus Krieger for Best Leading Actor, Jesse James Thomas for Best Supporting Actor, and Kate O’Toole for Best Supporting Actress!

I finished an amazing 10 days in Stratford, where I saw a lot of shows, drank a lot of booze, and spent a wonderful time with Scott and Marion. Long day of travel yesterday, after which Christine picked me up from the airport and we ended the evening finishing off the second season of True Detective (though overwritten, overwrought, and predictable, I think I enjoyed it).

Easy day today of some light catchup on things. Tonight I’m very excited to see the opening night of the Porters’ Breaking Bard. It’s sold out tonight, but running for a while. If you’re in LA, I urge you to check out this wonderful evening of theatre (it will sell out -- get you’re tickets now!)
