Week 5: The Deep Zone.
Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 5 | Week 6
There is no week 4 due to me staying in the middle zone longer than the outer zone. So for my driver it's been 2 weeks, preparing. Though I can tell you that poor car suffered greatly getting there. But here's Week 5's car.
a compilation of hyperspecific terrible terrible puns based around the cw’s the flash i happened to conjure up in my head
———
- how do you split team flash into equal parts? / you devoed them
- why was the flash too scared to go to his own parade on flash day? / he was barry much overwhelmed after saving the city
- frost just cai’t take it anymore, she has to snow over the whole bad guy den, now
- harry was in a muggle family, magic like other earths was bewildering to him!
- how can xs handle the pressure of being in cahoots with reverse flash? / she couldn’t, nora could she take staying in the future, either
- which member of team flash knows how to play the piano? / allegra, and she can play very fast!
- what’s joe’s favorite flower? / cecileias and irises
- what pet does breacher own? / a little cisky cat
- what is barry’s favorite element on the periodic table? / it’s not barium, it’s tellurium (now look up its atomic number!)
I really need to play catch up with the art I've completed. Going to start with this piece, which I'm really proud of! I absolutely love Pacific Drive, and the Whispers in the Woods DLC has definitely added to that love. So, of course I had to do a drawing of myself out in the OEZ. Might be time to get back in the car and drive, though.
Rare double feature of two enemies!/potential allies?
The first to go is a Voices of Favor breacher
Also known as Soloists, these marines are another VoF equivalent of scouts, but were taken out of their units (normally, young aspirants are given proper power armor and sent to Devastator squads or serve in the Malto Nobles) for various transgressions, now serving penance as bodyguards or guards on warships until the chapter Choirmaster allows them to return
As squad leaders for regular navy soldiers, these Astartes spend most of their "youth" away from their brothers in glorious combat (thats the punishment)
Nonetheless, their position as guides of mortals is still considered an honorable thing to do. Just not as fun, so there are not many (or any) volunteers lining up for the position (hence it goes to those punished by their captains)
Next up is the T'au pioneer medic/field scientist
A little less to say about this one
T'au pioneer cadres, often the first to arrive and last to leave, have many specialists trained for all kinds of non-combat purposes
Including the studying of potentially dangerous flora and fauna around their outposts, and the healing of those that didn't get the memo about said flora and fauna
Field tech will be a part of a pathfinder unit, and comes with a armored medical case, fancy gauntlet thing that would make any apothecary jealous, and an alien critter/potential cadre mascot?

sometimes i think about what it would take to make a payday2-like game in Godot, definitely more than i could handle alone.
Law enforcement special units;
Juggernaut: Like the dozer from PD2. Heavily armored and heavily armed unit that spearheads law enforcement assaults Pyro: Aren’t flamethrowers a war crime?! Will use their flames, and jerrycans of gasoline, to burn their way through defenses. the flames ignore armor! Stalker: Like the cloaker from PD2. Generally waits in ambush or hides in plain sight. Capable of an instant-incapacitation close quarters attack and incredible bursts of speed, along with acrobatic movements to dodge bullets. Can drop smoke grenades. Taser: Like the taser from PD2. Electrocutes heisters, making them fire uncontrollably and preventing movement. Incapacitation follows if the Taser isn't interrupted. Tech: Spawns in a map and hides in specific spots to create gun and tactical drones designed to slow down or disrupt the coordination of the gang. Breacher: BOOM!!! grenade launchers, C4, and claymores to try to demolish their way in through heister defenses. Gasser: Ain’t tear gas a war crime? An area denial unit who can close off areas by throwing gas grenades that eats away health quickly or deploy flashbangs. Medic: Like the medic from PD2. Instantly restores the health of any law enforcer he focuses on (except SWAT turrets, and Stalkers), allowing them to survive shots that would otherwise prove fatal. There is a short cooldown between heals. Shielder: More like the shielder from PD3 rather than PD2, PD3's shielders are the only smart enemies in that game. Wields a shield with bullet-resistant glass window, making it (and any other troops behind the shield) impervious to frontal attacks from most weapons, but will stagger with enough damage and their heads can be exposed if their window is broken. They wield pistols and can perform a melee attack that stuns heisters. Sniper: Like the sniper from PD2. Deals high, armor-penetrating damage from extreme distance. Only spawns in set positions in maps, and have a bright red laser that can give away their location.
