Day 16: Let's Play. Which is basically what my students are saying by the end of the day (Much to my chagrin). But I'll tell you what wasn't playing: this video. This is actually playing at 2x speed, because the first time I tried holding this, it cut off part way through (lesson learned: Instagram doesn't like videos over a minute). But video woes aside, I used a dip pen and ink for this one (a nerve-wracking task for any lefty). Day 16: Let's Play. Basically what my students were saying all day, after we all were expecting a snow day with how the weather was playing the night before, only to have to go to school. There were plenty of students who tried to convince me to just play a movie or a game (I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted). Now for this video, I used my my dip pen and ink (a nerve-wrecking task for any lefty-- I had to mute the video, otherwise you would have heard my deep calming breathes lol). You can see my sketch lines far now clearly than yesterday's, mainly because my freehand with pen-and-ink is nowhere where I want it to be. Though I wish I had taken a third picture of the side of my hand, with nary a spec of ink on it.
