I’ve started poking around at my great-grandfather’s euphonium again and apparently it’s even older than I thought? I’d known he’d played it in wwi but it’s a Couesnon & Cle with an 1889 banner which apparently means it’s from before 1900.
If anyone happens to know anything about very old brass instruments or how to find good repair shops for very damaged brass instruments I would love some input.
(The former for my own curiosity, the latter because it hasn’t been played in over a century and has done a lot of clattering around attics in that time. It is definitely not round, very seized, and only debatably a continuous tube. If I do manage to get it fixed I expect it’ll be more expensive than a replacement, but the history, y’know?)

I am currently working on compsing an album for brass groups and I want a few of them to be covers of others songs, the two covers I have so far are of Beep Beep by Shtiffles, and Just Look My Way. I will probably do the top two or three choices.
