The last time I was in the Lakes was back in October, and I had planned to return at the end of winter for some light hikes and some fresh air. As the weather is completely unpredictable in the area I decided not to stray into adventurous remote areas, and opted for the safey of Ambleside which I had some knowledge of, and still had some walks in the area I hadn’t yet completed.
