Because I had a history with 'Black Mirror' (that the episodes I've seen or partially seen...resulted in me feeling drained.), where I've learned that it's generally not a show that's a fit, I had to read about the episode so I would know what I was in for.

Usually, I wouldn't want spoilers, but this is an instance where I would need to know as much as possible.

Issa's perspective is that it's not a happy ending. What I had mentioned to Bear was that it does seem like it would be an ending I didn't want, if we were to use that as a reference point.

But what if we go further? That after Brandy's life (or doing other films?) in the Analogue World, she decides to join Dorothy in hers. Kind of a bit like what happened to Kelly & Yorkie? The tech is there.

When I took a peak into the Wiki entry for 'San Junipero', I was surprised that the director was a man. Thankfully, 'Hotel Reverie' has a woman directing. Not just a woman!? A woman of colour!

I wonder if they were looking to give someone who isn't yet steeped into directing. Because looking at Haolu's credits? It didn't seem to be the typical amount of credits that are unfairly required of a woman when inviting her to helm something as significant as an episode of 'Black Mirror'.
