Asterisk

An asterisk is an item of mysterious origins, only known to have been crafted by the brilliant mind of Sage Yulyana. Whoever posses such an object can gain magic and skills beyond normal human capabilities, in a variety of different fields. As evidenced by the Four Heroes of Light, only one asterisk can be in full effect, while a second can also be partially activated. Each member of the Eternian Duchy was granted just a single asterisk, and organized into groups to compliment their abilities (more so in the last chapter's side quest than anywhere else).
