A new kind of compression garment just hit the Australian active wear market!

In the blue corner, is my original use of this fabric: my fast drying, boy leg, swimming costume.

In the red corner, my newly released stretch-woven compression pants. This fabric will change your expectations in gym wear.

STRETCH-WOVEN FABRIC

The fabric doesn't incorporate elastane into a knit. It is woven (yes woven!) using composite stretch fibres, every last one of them exerting compression. This new kind of technical fabric is 35% lighter, more abrasion resistant, and, because it is flat woven, it doesn't trap sweat.

MINIMALIST STYLING

Style wise, I'm an architect, so not into pseudo "anatomical" cuts. My background in competitive cycling also means I've seen too many glued/welded seams peel apart. I hand cut each piece myself, in my studio in Newcastle East in Australia, then double sew every seam for the utilitarian finish I appreciate in clothing intended to last.

TECHNICAL FABRIC AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

For comparison's sake, one leading swim brand sells racing shorts in this fabric for $400. I keep my costs down, by not cutting an inch of this fabric until you, the end-consumer, pay for your order. But even with this made-to-order model, I still manage to dispatch each order in under a week.

THE REAL FIGHT

The real fight with gym clothing, is against sweat, and the cheap knitted fabric that traps it.

My stretch-woven compression pants allow for evaporation, while providing medical-grade compression, not when you're shopping or lounging, but during actual workouts, when your muscles are most sorely in need.
