And it’s not that I think they’re wrong, or I don’t think it could happen, but it’s that I can’t imagine them not loving each other anymore. They are TILL DEATH DO THEM PART TO ME. One of them will sooner DIE than they fall out of love with one another, and I would genuinely prefer that.

To me their bond is something beyond both of their legacies. They’ve cared about each other as whole people before they’ve fully become heroes, or even understood what they’re fighting for. It’s why they’re best friends. They love each other in ways others can’t, and I think they make each other better people through the ways they influence each other. It’s that mutual respect and acceptance. And that’s not something you can just lose in your life after so many years of history. Whatever they are it is NOT casual, I can’t imagine it. Friends to lovers is NEVER casual. You don’t just casually date your best friend.

This would explain why he is so consumed with rage, along with repeating “this time I won’t miss” before killing him. If I was stuck in what felt like a futile time loop where I have to prevent an unpredictable and dangerous cosmic force I’d be seething too??

so what im thinking here is that while they framed that bringing killswitch in as nicks replacement was kips idea, it clearly was not; he wanted to tag with nick to begin with to handle this old man situation, and bringing killswitch back was mamas idea. and kip did not like that, cause he cant boss that big ass dinosaur around, unlike he can and has been doing with nick, clearly

thats why despite being so cocky going into this match, kip was so upset and pathetic all the time. getting bullied by his new teammate he did not want cause hes the one used to being in control now that hes with nick, and he obviously couldnt do that here

im pretty sure nick and mama dont think they did anything wrong to killswitch. it was all christian that mistreated him, so thats why they are on the same side, even if killswitch maybe doesnt see it that way cause he definitely saw the favoritism towards nick. but kip sees him as a liability right now, cause if they dont get along, hes not in control like he wants to be and clearly has been since christian got removed from the picture. and that just fucks with all of his plans
