fourth finger by linearity (charles/max) i mean it when i say i don't go here. lestappen never much moved me in any particular way. but sometimes people will come out with the most heartbreaking, sweet, sad, incredible story about something happening and then nothing ever being the same, ever. and to be able to write something so human, so raw and real in the midst of magic realism. absolutely insane level. you can't go back, so eyes open.
terraforming by debrief and Event Horizon by finifugue (lando/oscar) these two go together in my head because sometimes a life-altering fic will come your way and it's always a goddamn space au
postcards from places that miss you by streetlightsky (sebastian/charles) this fic to me is advertised as the heal your tifosi heart with sebchal kit
eat them alive by linearity (max/oscar) broke my heart but yeah
family matters by agustofwind (mainly max/george, but lando/oscar and lance/nando are there too) heist aus are great. heist aus with so many literature and art references, a dash of found family and an evil italian man to kill are INCREDIBLE.
on the faultline by limabima (lewis/nico) holy brocedes bible
no harsher than the bark by 140445 (charles/oscar) i don't go here but when and if i do, i dine at the finest restaurants only
Tough to be Tender by lealu (max/george) i waited for this fic to update chapter by chapter and it felt like holding my breath every step of the way. i was unaware i could cry THIS much about a fan fiction. this one is very, very close and dear to me. it's max and george writing brocedes fics and falling in love via email while being unaware that they also work together irl. this one will teach you about grief, and about love, and everything in-between.
four espressos (and a lifetime) by makeamends (charles/max) me myself i love a f1 driver/non f1 driver dynamic. this one has SO much italian commentary in it made me laugh loads, and feel very close to home even when i'm so far away :] a very good read
honorable mentions for three landoscar fics that are still ongoing but live rent free in my head and have never left. like, they're just stuck there permanently. i will be re-reading these stories into the grave. it is that serious.
