❝ How did you know to find me up here? ❞ It probably wasn't all that hard to find her. Just look for a quiet rooftop where she had the clearest view of the stars and you'd be sure to find her there gazing up at them as if they would disappear if she looked away for even a second.

      the  inujan  woman  panted  heavily,  once  porcelain  features  splattered  with  specks  of  mud  from  attempting  to  hide  in  a  downpour. she  was  initially  frightened,  curled  up  into  the  corner  of  this  cave  on  this  jungle  planet  after  narrowly  avoiding  death  and  putting  out  a  distress  signal. 

       she  looked  shell  shocked,  eyes  stuck  on  the  muddy  floor  with  glazed  over  eyes. eris  had  taken  it  upon  herself  to  do  her  own  research  and  go  off  world  undercover,  just  seeing  how  terrible  it  really  was  past  her  sector. 

       the  starvation,  the  homelessness. so  many  misplaced  from  the  empire  and  so  many  mistreated. and  no  one  seemed  to  care. they  took  advantage  of  those  people. the  cycle  was  never  ending. 

 she  had  almost  forgotten  she  even  put  out  a  distress  signal.

 “  i  --  “  the queen started,  shivering  from  being  wet  to  the  bone. 

      eyes  followed  back  up  to  the  helmet,  hands  moving  to  cling  to  either  side  of  her  arms  to  hold  herself,  a  moment  of  weakness  not  many  saw  from  her. 

     “  why  does  no  one  do  anything?  people  are  suffering  and  no  one  cares. all  they  see  is  free  labor. and  i’m  trying  my  best  to  make  this  happen  and  not  one  person  wants  to  move  these  mountains  with  me. not  one. “  

      this  stranger  had  no  idea  what  she  was  on  about  and  probably  no  idea  who  she  was. 

     “  humanity  is  dying. there  is  no  love  left  out  there--anywhere. and  i  don’t  know  what  to  do  now. because  i  have  no  interest  in  ruling  in  a  universe  that  does  not  value  its  people. “ 

       she  tried  her  best  to  hold  back  the  tears,  but  it  all  came  out  at  once,  the  princess  sobbing  uncontrollably,  covering  her  eyes  with  her  wrists.

No other way to go except up. Their only option was traversing the uneven nooks and cracks in the wall; they'd be risking it for an indeterminable end. Fortune favored them in some ways, still, as it wouldn't be entirely a difficult Eron stepped closer to the sunlit gap above their head, taking a note of the distance between the two of them. "We could try climbing one at a time," he suggested to his Mandalorian ally with a gleam of something mischievous in his eyes. "Be a lot faster if I just threw you up there, though. And your armor can hold off whatever's waiting for us. Hopefully."

There was a vague tinge of unease in his body language as he approached their meeting point. He surveyed the surroundings with subtle turns of his helmet, keeping his hands close by his sides. Was he expecting something? A trap?

"Kih'parjai. Didn't have much else to do today."

He adjusted his poncho with a quick tug at the side, blaster rifle slung over-top his shoulder. It was an older model, an antique design favored by frontiersmen and rimward colonists, modified to his tastes.

Letting out a low whistle, Ro was already making her own observations before turning to glance over at the Twi’leks that he had mentioned, but that didn’t seem like the ones who were so quick to fight. They seemed like they merely wanted to be noticed and heard. Not start some big commotion before she looked towards the back of the place. Green hues trying to pick up anything that might seem odd. “I believe the disagreement between the Mon Calamari and the Rodian is getting heated rather quickly.. Another few minutes and there’s going to be someone going flying.” She mused while her fingers began to lightly tap the bar counter once again.
