Bound by Flesh is a #documentary focused on the lives of Violet and Daisy Hilton, conjoined twins who worked in sideshows and eventually became vaudeville stars before starring in the 1932 movie Freaks. Their story is rather sad, as they lived their youth in servitude to people who were βmanagingβ their performing careers, and then they were unable to hold on to their limelight once they fought for and won their freedom. The doc compiled interviews with historians and some of the people who knew them, along with photos, audio recordings of the twins, and video recordings.
