However, Rhaenyra's ascension doesn't go without issue. At every turn a mysterious group works in the shadows to undermine not only her, but the entirety of House Targaryen. Which gives Aemond plenty of reason to work with her, rather than against her.

This is the slowest of burns, but it's so satisfying, and the plot of a mysterious group trying to bring down House Targaryen keeps you locked in by the throat.
