Going with the Flow

I need to shut up. Doesn't seem like anyone wants to listen

..nobody knows the lonely nights. Nobody knows the desperate cries, the burst of bottled up feelings. The feeling of helplessness and self doubt - "Am I right for not saying anything?"... at least not yet. Because you still cling to the hope that you'll get your chance one day. Then days turn to weeks.. weeks turn to months. Still no. He doesn't recognize you. He never notices the spark in your eyes every time you look at him. Regardless of how much you see deep into his being, he doesn't look at you the same way. So you're left to wonder, "How does it feel like to be looked upon?". Then there are days when you decide to stop hoping already.. when you tell yourself, “Perhaps it's time to let them be”. But then they come calling for you, you get to them and you get to them fast. You help set them free from the chains they built for themselves. Totally unaware, you forget that you were supposed to break free from your own chains that is them. But you're human. You may not be perfect, but you love the best way you know how.
