I go through cleansers faster than almost anything in my stash (besides toner, maybe), because I use one at least once a day, if not twice. These are all cleansers I liked well enough to use all the way up and not toss I ran out, but most of these I also probably will not be repurchasing unless I have another bout with perioral dermatitis. I need stronger stuff for summertime!

J.One Jelly Cleanser - I wish I liked this cleanser as much as I liked the rest of my J.One stash—as it stands, I will probably not be repurchasing this unless I have a discount or it goes on sale. While I liked the light fragrance and gel texture, it's a bit expensive for such a small tube and I don't think it cleansed as well as some of of the foamier ones out there. This was a good, light cleanse to prep for a nighttime J.One routine, however, but it's the least impressive product I’ve tried among the jelly packs and various creams. Tangentially related: when will J.One do an eye creeeeeeeaaaaaammmmmmmm?

Aromatica Sea Daffodil Cleansing Mousse - I basically really like this entire line of natural kbeauty products, but again, I can't justify the cost. This was a lifesaver in the winter, though, when my perioral dermatitis turned itself into a thing that wouldn't die, so I might go back to this line if I have another flare up of sensitivity in the future. I actually ran out of the toner first in this set, and now I'm just down to the gel moisturizer left in my cabinet, so it’s time to give some of my other unused stash products a try.

Botanic Farm Cleansing Sherbet - This is by far my favorite first step of a double-cleanse; I like the Sherbet texture much more than the cleansing oils I've been trying out lately. It's much neater, requires less product to remove a full face of makeup including waterproof mascara, and rinses very cleanly. I already had another in my stash before this ran out, so this one was a pre-repurchase!

CosRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser - I got this on hella sale, and I was actually pretty impressed by it as a morning cleanser. I still can't really tell the difference between the various types of pH cleansers, but this one was another godsend when my face decided to flip its shit this past winter and I had to cut way back on all my exfoliation and intense actives. There's a good chance I'll get this again, especially if the price continues to be right. I like using a more gentle cleanser and routine in the morning so as not to undo all the work the products did the night before and to not irritate things for the day ahead.

Confession time, me beauties: I did not last my entire 60-day beauty spending freeze. I made it through the first month of 2017, but restricting myself for two months straight turned out to be damn near impossible, especially with Valentine's Day deals and sets and coupons all over the place. What can I say: I'm nothing if not a HUGE fan of instant gratification. The good news is that what I did blow on Kbeauty from my main dealer resource Memebox ended up being some truly good deals with excellent savings, so that's how I'm rationalizing it.

I don't know about you all, but nineteen masks, including a new gel modeling pack with goji berry by MD’s Pick, and some super-luxurious sheets with roses, pearls, strawberry and gold from favorite brands and some new ones I haven’t tried, plus a goofy little notebook that I'm sure I will find some kind of use for, and a couple of tasty chocolate treats, with more than 70% savings is how I like to spend my greeting-card company holidays. 

I'm trying to formulate a couple of new routines to incorporate all these different masks and flavors, particularly the roses (duh) and the berries. I had been wondering if I should try to be more grown-up and minimalist in my overall skincare regimens, but you all have clearly seen how well that's been working out for me...

Review of Botanic Farm’s Rose Natural Energy Mask Sheet

Botanic Farm is a Korean brand focusing on botanical ingredients and more natural and earth-based themes. They have focused on going green and protecting the environment. They produce many different kinds of products including various lines of sheet masks including this one, broccoli (provides healthy skin; review), cherry blossom (hydrating and nourishing; review) and others. The rose mask is designed to soothe, repair and tighten pores. Key ingredients include: 20mg of cabbage rose extract (antimicrobial, skin healing, soothing, hydrating, moisturizing), niacinamide (whitening, lightening, anti-aging, rejuvenating, anti-wrinkle), sodium hyaluronate (anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, hydrating, moisturizing, healing) and peach leaf extract (softening, skin protecting, anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant). This product retails for between $2-3 USD, you can get it here for $2 + shipping.

This mask contains 20 ml (0.67 oz) and it has a light rose scent.

The mask is made of three layers of natural cellulose to ensure deep hydration. The mask fits well and is very soft. The mouth, nose and eye holes all fit comfortably and the thinness of the mask holds onto the essence well so it takes a long time to dry out completely.

Recommended use is after washing and toning, gently remove the mask from the packaging and place onto the face for 15-20 minutes. Afterward, gently remove the mask from the face and dispose of properly. Warm palms by gently rubbing them together and wrap around the face for better absorption. After using, this mask is very nice quality and very soft. It's very hydrating and soothing, it does a great job of toning down redness and caring for irritated skin. It has a light rose scent, but I don't think it would be an irritant because it's so light. The ingredients are great and the mask is well made and inexpensive. After removing, my skin looks more even toned and hydrated and it feels smoother as well. I'd recommend this to anyone with very dry and/or irritated skin. I found it works well and is very affordable.

What I like: this mask is very hydrating and soothing. It has a very light scent and really helps to tone skin. It really moisturizes and smooths out the skin as well and it's very pleasant to use. The quality is great and the material is very soft and comfortable against the skin. What I don't like: nothing really, it's a great mask.
