Roses are a feast for the senses. They’re pretty to look at, they smell divine and their petals can be used to flavour teas and sweets. They are also said to have medicinal value. Perhaps Admin and I shall try cultivating a new variety this year.

サーモンピンク色の花はカップ咲きから
ロゼット咲きとなり雨にも強く花もちもよい。
強いミルラ香、フルーツ香があり1～3輪ほどで咲き
花の重さでややうなだれる。
樹形は半直立性だが花がうなだれるので
スペースがあるのならば自然樹形も魅力的。
冬季の剪定で樹高の1/2位まで切り戻すと良い。
夏場はやや暑がるので西日の避けられる東側で
管理すると良い。
ほぼ四季咲きと言って良いくらい返り咲く。

I’m seeing this tonight! I sort of vaguely remember the last time they did Taming of the Shrew, which was in 2010, but I don’t think I remember it well enough to compare the productions. Which is probably better, honestly, so I’ll be watching it with fresher eyes. I am very excited!
