i read this raw naruto dj without reading the tags cos hey the cover looks interesting enough and it looks all cute and why not? it's an adult, hokage!naruto with chibi versions of boruto and sasuke being sweet with him. i can read SOME japanese. like, the very basics with a very little bit of every day kanji.
so manga starts off cute. boruto's entering a rooom, waking up naruto who is oversleeping. he keeps on bothering him and telling him to wake up and he needs his bento prepared since he'll be late for training.
naruto wakes up, thinking hinata and himawari had already seen boruto off for the day, so when he sees boruto still at home, he tells him he thought he'd already left.
so boruto is like, "are you still sleepy? i need my bento, mom!"
another child enters his room who says "boruto's right we need our lunches, usuratonkachi"
to which naruto says "sasuke!" and it's literally the 12 year old sasuke in front of him. "i'm your mother, you don't call me names like usuratonkachi. that's disrespectful!"
so im like. am i having a stroke?? sure i'm ok with boruto calling naruto mom in a dj cos why the fuck not if that's what the author wants right?? but then im like. how the fuck is naruto sasuke's mom?? what about hinata?? and himawari?? who were illustrated just now?? that was a dream or something??
and then naruto's like ‘oh, right. i'm sasuke and naruto's mom.’ and then the page displays naruto in an apron preparing breakfast and sasuke and boruto's bento.
after handing them their bento, boruto says "we're going now, mom!"
to which naruto says "have a good day!"
and that's as far as my kanji will take me because in the next scenes where there's A LOT of kanji i can't read, naruto is at the hokage's office and shikamaru is worried about him because naruto is sort of acting weird, then naruto finds out jiraiya is still alive and he calls for him and he cries since y'know, he knew he died and they catch up and stuff.
in the next pages i can understand again lol
and then by some miracle naruto isn't doing overtime and is home before the kids get home. he's already preparing dinner since he's drawn with an apron on.
so boruto says "we're home" and sasuke says "i'm hungry"
and naruto's inner monologue says, "sasuke and boruto are my children. and i'm the happiest mom in the world"
after dinner while fixing up some laundry naruto catches the children running around naked and roughhousing on their way to the bathroom (it's not uncommon to bathe together). so naruto admonishes them that they're getting too old to be running around naked.
so boruto says "mom! take a bath with us!"
there are a lot of kanji i dont understand anymore in the next pages, but naruto is having a wash outside the tub since boruto and sasuke are in the hot water. (it's practice to wash and scrub yourself first and wash off the soap before getting in the hot water to soak because the soak is shared with other people)
so around here boruto asks about naruto's arm/prosthetic. then boruto and sasuke offer to scrub naruto's back.
after scrubbing naruto's back, little sasuke reaches for naruto's dick to wash that too but naruto kinda freaks out and sort of yells "no!" and naruto returns to scrubbing himself.
after the bath and after getting dressed in pajamas, naruto climbs in bed to see boruto who wants to sleep in bed with him.
and then later when boruto and naruto are settled, sasuke comes in and climbs over naruto, pinning him down.
naruto says "sasuke what do you think you're doing?"
and sasuke says "what we've always done, naruto" (he calls naruto just by his name in the entire dj, he doesn't once call him mom)
AND THEN THIS IS WHERE I SHOULD HAVE READ THOSE FUCKING TAGS??
and then young 12 year old sasuke is fucking his mother. then naruto thinks "we do this? always?" and naruto just lets it happen. sasuke fucks him from behind, face down on the bed. then later, naruto is on his knees up right, while sasuke is still behind him holding his hands to his back.
boruto says he wants to fuck his mom too, but sasuke says he's too young, which means sasuke might be the older brother (i think somewhere there it says boruto is 10). sasuke now switches their positions. naruto is on his back, sasuke is still fucking him and boruto is kissing him.
in next page, naruto is waking up the next morning to hearing an adult sasuke's voice. he thinks he's back to reality because sasuke is grown up.
sasuke says "are you tired? do you need to sleep in today?"
then he hears boruto's voice. "dad! you woke me up!"
naruto wakes and sits up, naked, and adult sasuke, whom boruto called dad says, "i'm home, naruto. were the boys good?"
which means this is adult sasuke, is a separate person from the sasuke the child. their child. boruto and sasuke jr, are naruto and sasuke sr's children.
and i dont know if this implies or not that sasuke sr knows his children are fucking their mom, because i’m not sure if i read it right when sasuke sr says “were the boys/sons good” because i don’t know if it might have meant “were the boys/sons good to you?” instead.
and then it ends with naruto wondering if everything is a dream.
i swear to god. what the fuck. i don't know what to do with this information hahahahahha

also edit because additional thoughts. i think the dj might have been a dream, because if naruto married sasuke and is the mom, then his name changes to uchiha naruto, if i take into consideration gender roles and how families are registered in japan, naruto will have to be registered as a husband/wife to sasuke. and then boruto will have to be named uchiha boruto, since he’s a child of an uchiha put in the uchiha registry. then technically since naruto and boruto are uchihas, they should be wearing the uchiha crest. however, boruto and naruto still wear the uzumaki crest, and sasuke jr. is wearing the uchiha crest. but! it could still be the choice of the author to let naruto and boruto wear the uzumaki crest.
