The group effortlessly blends technical death metal virtuosity with disemboweling sludge and progressive splendor on this new, death-dealing release. Mike Bielenda’s (ex-The Yellow Sign) guitar playing conjures nightmarish, discordant riffs that intertwine with each other in serptentine fashions. Cody McCoy (Černá,Anagnorisis contributor) and Sam Fraser round out an impressive rhythm section with tumultuous percussion and subterranean bass lines. At the heart of this madness is vocalist Dave Hoffman (ex-The Contortionist), whose vile ululations propel the music further into dark territory.
