》𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕗𝕚𝕖 QOTD 》Having read The Song of Achilles, what do I do with myself now? Please, leave suggestions in the comments. I am undone. I need to process this. It isn’t anguish because the tragedy was expected, but still I grieve this immense loss. I had tears, but they didn’t spill; a clenching in my chest, but an absurd & desperate hope persistent to the end. This is not a review because I have no capacity for organized thought. I am confused by the depth of my emotional investment. I need solitude. I need air. I need ugh some chocolate & a comfort read & to maybe not leave my bed at all today so that I can daydream about what happens, what’s been happening, in the aftermath. I am left in sweet devastation & I just want to linger in the shade for a moment. ♡ xo Noelani The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (★★★★★) the arch of his foot teasing curve of his proud brow bring him back to me “He said what he meant; he was puzzled if you did not. Some people might have mistaken this for simplicity. But is it not a sort of genius to cut always to the heart?” | Madeline Miller, The Song of Achilles (Yes, you did.
