3.October.2020 - MY HEART IS BLEEDING
Okay, where do I start? Maybe I should begin with the fact that I didn't listen to my brain, again! Why? Because when you have a addiction you have the ability to just ignore that little angle on your right shoulder. And thats what I did. I ignored that cute voice and bought another four books, without even thinking how dumb this was. I want to save money, not throw it away to every author I like. Sounds stupid, doesn't it?
Today I've read the "The Name of the Wind", of course. I mean this book is thick! It will take a while to finish it. Especially when our dear protagonist has to suffer so much! I mean, please, Patrick Rothfuss, have a bit of mercy for my heart, it's literally bleeding. I've read 80 pages of pure torture and yeah, the writing is wonderful but the content is hard to read BUT still so... gripping?... suspensfull?
Isn't it interesting how deeply you can feel sorry for someone who doesn't even exists. You suffer with them, you want them to feel better. Sometimes I think I have more sympathy for a book character than for some of my old school colleagues. Okay... that's not really difficult. Some of these boys were so dumb. Once one of them tried to flush a book down the toilet. It was the "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I was furious. And hurt because during that time I really wanted to have people around me, who are a little bit like me. Maybe that's one of the reasons for this blog... Maybe...
Btw there is one sentence I want to share, that just stucked in my head.
It's from "The Name of the Wind" :
Style of my trip
