Today is book recommendation day, and I LOVE seeing the books you guys recommend! Today we are talking about Black authors that we love! Do you have any favorites?? I couldn’t pick just one favorite, so I have a few! 🥰 . . . For my fellow romance readers, I absolutely MUST recommend *Get a Life, Chloe Brown* by Talia Hibbert and *Intercepted* by Alexa Martin! Both of these are the first books in two romance series, and they are SO GOOD! (Check them out!) . . . And for my fellow YA readers... Of course Angie Thomas is on my list! I love both *The Hate U Give* and *On the Come Up*, and I already have my copy of *Concrete Rose* preordered and am patiently waiting for it to release. 🥰 And it’s no secret that I’m a pretty huge fan of *The Children of Blood and Bone* and it’s sequel, *The Children of Virtue and Venegence* by Tomi Adeyemi. This series is awesome, and I can’t wait for book 3! . . . And lastly, for fans of YA contemporaries, I share the newest addition to my favorite list, *You Should See Me in a Crown* by Leah Johnson! Do you collect multiple editions of books?? I have a few different editions of a few different books, one of those being the *A Darker Shade of Magic* series by V.E. One of my most favorites spin-off series is the *Dance of Thieves* series, which is a spin-off of *The Remnant Chronicles* by @maryepearson, which just happens to be one of my most favorite series EVER. 🥰 I would totally be down for reading more books from this series if Mary wanted to keep writing them.
