ABOUT Adam Gnade's work is released as a series of novels and audio books that share characters and continue storylines in an attempt to use autobiographical fiction to build a vast historical account of how it was to live when he lived. His newest novel will be released January 5th, 2022 by San Diego's own Three One G and Michigan's Bread & Roses Press. Not connected to the fiction series, he is also the author of the indie bestseller The DIY Guide to Fighting the Big Motherfuckin' Sad. (The sequel of which, Simple Steps to a Life Less Shitty, was released in summer 2021.) Born and raised in San Diego, California, Gnade ran the magazine Fahrenheit San Diego with friends before leaving to "endlessly cross the country by car and bus." Gnade lives and works in rural isolation on the Ruby Teeth Homestead on the Kansas prairie. He cites Robert Bolaño, William Faulkner, X, The Locust, and Bright Eyes as his longtime influences.
