》𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤 》QOTD: Wall shelves or bookcases? I’ve started the process of unpacking all the boxes of books around the new apartment in preparation for my new bookshelves. I have no idea how to put shelves on the wall. So, this is going to be a project & probably a painful one. (Any advice is appreciated. Seriously.) I just got back from spending Christmas with my mom & I’ve been in such a mood since, unfit for anything besides mundane household chores like unpacking boxes or changing the sheets. I think it always gets this way in the inbetween time leading up to New Year’s, but the pandemic adds its own flavor—or rather, removes all other flavors from the mix. My mom lives five hours away (six if there’s traffic) & this was my first time seeing her in over two years. The visit was quiet, low-key & only as exhausting as any long-awaited visit with your parents can get. She is the reason for my love of reading.
