I’m sure this has been made b4 but I couldn’t find it so here’s me reinventing the wheel

I was listening to too much katseye and started associating Vil with Gabriela so I drew him as the hottest member /hj

This is also the first time drawing neige so that was fun! He fits the face of Dani so well

My first piece for the @iceouthr fandom fundraiser to support immigrants rights in America. Over 4.5 thousand dollars has been raised so far! (And as of Feb 14th, they’re still accepting donations through the end of the day.)

This prompt was an easy one: Troy and Harris at the farm. So, here they are in a post-Sunday dinner food coma enjoying some excellent cinematic programming. Harris loves Our Flag Means Death, I will not argue this point.

Unless, of course, you wanna make the point that the show wasn’t on during their book timeline, and in that case, Harris loves Black Sails and I will not argue this point.

I think we can all learn something from Rook, because I think no one truly understands just how much he loves almost everything- especially Vil. He saw the beauty in Vil's overblot while also acknowledging that it wasn't Vil at his most beautiful. He loves him so much and genuinely wants the best for him; he sees Vil’s beauty! Remember, even when Vil was at his ugliest, he still saw beauty.

He sees the beauty in pimples, in fat, in tears, in color, in wrinkles, in smile lines, in every single "flaw" a human body can have. He sees beauty in something as simple as a flower or a well-crafted chair, and also in something as complex or horrible as trauma or anger and hatred. He sees beauty in everything that today's beauty standard would call "not beautiful", but Rook knows better. He knows that beauty standards are doodoo! He believes that the most beautiful person is a person that loves themself. Ironically a stark contrast to how Vil sees it, since he relies more on external ways validation to measure beauty. Rook truly believes that a person is only ugly if they're very ugly on the inside.

Rook is optimistic, curious, kind and positive. Yeah the guy may be a little very weird, but at the end of the day he's definitely not a bad dude! He wants to seek and protect beauty and spread it to the world :)

I know we're all mad that he voted for Neige, but it was the right thing to do. If he voted for NRC, he wouldn't have been honest, the main trait vil likes in Rook. He wasn't biased, he simply knew that their performance wasn't as beautiful as it could've been. This doesn't mean that their performance wasn't beautiful of course!

Also the fact that what Rook tells Vil after the competition is so important to his character development! Vil shouldn't need an audience to tell him that he's amazing and beautiful, that’s what Rook means.

If NRC had won it would've ruined the entire point of Vil's character arc in my opinion (though of course I would've loved for us to win). In conclusion, Rook is a neat dude who we should learn from (minus the stalking part cough cough)

Like there STILL isn’t an announcement!! How long must we wait to see the manga boy band training arc we deserve!!

And most importantly (to ya girl anyway) how much longer until we get our next Manga Yuu?? I’m really excited since I love all the Manga Yuus so much and I need to know who’s next to get napped into this topsy turvy world >:(!

All that is to say, what kind of Yuu do you think we’ll be getting? Obviously we have something of an established boy-girl-boy-girl pattern but it also been established that Yuu plays by the Spider-Man rule aka anyone can wear the mask rule so anything is possible! A nonbinary or even GNC Yuu would be super cool to see!

Character design/style wise we could truly go anywhere but I hope we go more to the Yuuna side bc as much as I love the other Yuus, there’s a reason her design was such a breath of fresh air 😮‍💨! I feel given the story of Book 5 I feel like it’d be cool to see a Yuu with a strong standout part of their design!

(given the Manga Yuus are all canonically Japanese and since it’s a fun way to tie it back to Pomefiore via Rook, my mind goes to freckles immediately! More overt conditions like Poliosis - cause it translates well to anime me thinks - or just straight up Vitiligo would be actually peak to see!)

(Going into pure nonsense now but I think it’d be cool if B5! Yuu had a brief history in the entertainment world like they were a one hit wonder or was a child actor on one show only! Just something they did once for fun that they haven’t thought about until the VDC stirs up some memories.)

And finally, personality! I feel like B5! Yuu…shouldn’t care! Not in a rude or apathetic way (though who would blame them at this point in the story..) My mind goes immediately to this BANGER scene in JJK with Nobara, where she’s talking about how she can’t care about everyone she meets and how her heart is only swayed by the people with actual seats in her life but there are also ppl like Itadori who just drag their own chair in and sit down without permission. It'd be really neat to see them and Vil go from semi-hostile strangers to friends sitting at the same table 🥹!

In conclusion B5! Yuu‼️‼️‼️ Come Home 🔥‼️‼️

Call me Penelope of Ithaca because I've been waiiiiting WAAAAAITIIING FOR FUCKING EVER!!! 😭😭😭😭

Doesn't even look like we're done with Scarabia's manga yet, which is a shame because I am on pins and needles to see Overblot Jamil in all his snake and blink freakery 🐍 and the first concrete look at Kalim and Jamil's shared traumatic childhood✨

At this rate, we might not get Book 5 manga til next year which is a shame because I wanna see a new Yuu like I want to take a gulp of air!! It's my hope that this one will be named Yuuki, since Yuki's Japanese for snow and this is the book with the Snow White theming.❄️

Personally hoping for a boy this time since that means Book 6 Yuu would likely be a gamer gremlin girl, which is always a blast. But freckly nonbinary GNC Yuu is chef's kiss!

There seems to be a running theme with the Yuus being a parallel to the overblot boy of each book, so this Yuu also having a background in show business would be interesting. Especially if it's in a different wat from Vil like being a theater tech or a musician, or maybe even somebody whose family are actors but they're not interested in pursuing that path as opposed to Vil following his dad into the entertainment industry (we also need an Eric Venue cameo in this book or I will eat my left shoe with baked beans)

Ohhhh, a Yuu who can't form bonds quite as easily coming out of their shell during the training camp and making a connection with Vil whose efforts to help people are genuine yet get lost in the harshness and perfectionism?

Although side-note, switching to another Yuu in Book 6 is going to hit wildly different in the manga because that means the last time we'll be seeing Book 5 Yuu is Grim about to claw their face off, sooooo...🫥
