The Fenton siblings have to hide in Gotham when (insert bad reveal scenario here). Dani starts getting antsy when she can't follow her obsession for travel.

Dani starts playing Geoguesser on Jazz's suggestion. It works, especially when she gains a following on (insert twitch knock-off here). People start sending her photos so she can try to find where it was taken and she gets every one correct. She starts doing these over the weekend so she can still play the actual game.

Steph and Cass found the channel first. They thought it could be staged, but then Cass sent in a picture she took in China and it showed up on the next stream. BeenThereSeenThat (the name Dani gave her channel) looked at the picture and lit up.

"I've actually been there! Two years ago, there's this little shop that sneaks leftovers to street kids near this shot. Might be right behind the photographer actually!"

Then she opens the map and zooms in immediately on the little shop Cass had been eating at when she took the picture.

After this, Steph started talking about the streamer with the other bats. Soon they were all sending in pictures from more and more obscure areas. There were a few she claims to have actually been to, but most she had been to the general area and picked up on the traits.

Eventually she was getting submissions from all the younger heroes.

Dani does joint streams with her brother, Danny (Dying4Space), where he finds locations based on the view of the night sky. He geeks out so hard when one of the pictures was taken from space (Jon had taken it to send as an 'I see you' joke to Damian from the watchtower).

When Dani starts getting haters, Danny has her make Tucker a mod (1kn0wwh3r3y0ul1v3 (iknowwhereyoulive in 1337 speak)). He starts dming people with their ip address, coordinates, and legal name when they harass his bro's little sister. Tucker is having the time of his life.

Idk where to take this, maybe Danny says the coordinates of the watchtower and Batman takes it as a threat, maybe Dani is doing a stream when Jazz gets taken by a rogue and she locates them from a cracked window in the background. All I know is I want Bruce to begrudgingly respect these kids while thinking they're a threat.

(I just had this image of Dani looking at a picture of some random dirt road and going "Oh, I know that dirt! That's Tasmanian dirt!")

I love that dangerous old grandpa butler. He’s a fantastic background character that can do a variety of cool things or just be a steady support depending on the comic or episode or fic.

It’s common in fandom to make him more supportive and more badass and more knowledgeable than his comic runs, and he loves Bruce and all the Batfam immensely.

But, well, he often supports Bruce through terrible decisions that hurt everyone else. Enabling actions most adults would know to walk away from or prevent. I know this is highly dependent on the author and comics are telling a story and people are imperfect in many ways, and retcons happen all the time

BUT!! This is where my dpxdc brain chimes in:

A “what if Alfred was a ghost” idea but his Obsession is Bruce. Not the family, not the Waynes, not the estate or his job… just Bruce.

What if he raised this kid after Martha and Thomas died, watched him become Batman, and then the first, or third, or 12th time Batman gets hurt in the field and Alfred has to drive out to pick him up (specifically thinking of that Father’s Day comic) he just… gets killed. He’s an old man, after all, and whether or not he had training he couldn’t win against a whole group of men trying to beat Batman into the dirt.

But his ghost could.

And Alfred Pennyworth was not going to let death stop him from looking after Bruce Wayne.

Now, I figure this event would happen before Dick came on the scene, so his only thought was Bruce. Get Bruce home. Get Bruce’s wounds cleaned and wrapped. Don’t tell Bruce he died. That would only complicate Bruce’s already strange and difficult life. Just take care of Bruce. Support Bruce. Help Bruce. Make Bruce’s life easier in any way he could. Bruce is all that matters.

Now of course when the kids come along Alfred loves them too. But they aren’t his Obsession. When Bruce hurts his children, emotionally or physically, Alfred doesn’t approve - he will certainly voice his disapproval - but he doesn’t leave either. He stays. He always stays.

Because he must look after Bruce.

Clark, extremely sympathetic, because sometimes it feels like he has to talk people down from forming superman cults every other month, emails back.

She’s an internationally recognized investigative journalist whose every article can shake governments and who is generally involved in uncovering every major scandal within a hundred mile radius of Metropolis. He’s just some strong guy who can fly. Who’s more useful to villans?

I mean that generally in reference to DC media broadly, but also fandom stuff. I can’t think of a good way to tie that into DP though. Ectoplasm gets called kryptonite quite a bit, and the GIW would *love* some good publicity, maybe something with that?
