Commonly found balancing flaming rocks and magma on its nose, this Pokemon can be hazardous to approach.
Off-Model Friend: This time Bomushikaa, one of the unused Pokemon designs from Gold/Silver (bogleech.com/pokemon/pbeta2…). Things I have learned: I Am Bad At Fireballs :P Also nose is wonky and eyes are hard, but I'm pleased with the shape.
So, that big fireball...we can never say for sure if that’s Bomushikaa’s nose or not. I mean, it’s probably not, but it’s not out of the question. I assume the other option is that it blows big snot bubbles with magma-snot. Or it picks up random rocks and sets them on fire. It would’ve been really interesting to see HOW they were going to execute this idea. This beta version had no evolutions though, so it would’ve been a disappointing Pokemon on its own.
BONUS POKEMON: Bomushika
It would have been cool to have a Fire/Water type in 2nd gen, but I guess there's always Volcanion...

Bomushikaa GSC Sprites
An unreleased mon from the GS SpaceWorld '97 demo. Bomushikaa is Water + Fire type and number 224 in the beta GS Dex. Thought I'd try it with different colour schemes. Can't decide which I prefer.
