Three new family additions today.
Today I purchased a B. boehmi sling and a L. parahybana sling from Repticon. I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but I will be posting pictures soon. They are named Molotov and Griz, respectively.
We also purchased a female Emperor Scorpion, named Suey. Personally, I still have a bit of a fear of scorpions, but I'm using Suey to slowly get over it. My companion will be her main caregiver, and he will be helping me conquer my phobia.
The thing about Suey, though, is that there is a slight possibility she may be pregnant. So three will turn into many. We won't be keeping them, but either giving them to the breeder we purchased them from or to a nearby pet store. Obese scorpions will look very similar, so we can't be sure.
I will post pictures of them within the next couple of days, hopefully.
OH! I learned something very necessary for me to know today. I had decided I wanted to purchase dubia roaches because of the fact they are more nutritious for the tarantulas. I went to Repticon hoping to find some. I finally asked someone and he said that dubias and other types of roaches are illegal to buy or sell in this state, due to the fact that if they are released into the wild, they can destroy the cattle and citrus industry. I'm glad that I learned that before I ordered them online. >.>

Yes the young. These two young "mohican" zebra fouls were playing around when something got their attention and they looked straight at us. They are beautiful, playful and got a stunning laugh.
